About Laser Light Therapy
Low-level Laser Light Therapy provides direct follicle stimulation and thus thus follicle strengthening and hair growth. This safe, FDA-approved, and easy-to-use therapy can be easily administered at our TRIDOC Hair Restoration location.
With early intervention, Laser light therapy can slow or stop hair loss and prepare a patient for a future with a full head of hair.
Laser light therapy is often the first step to stopping hair loss. It’s particularly effective for women who begin the therapy session before hair loss is extensive. Low-level laser therapy — also referred to as red light therapy and cold laser therapy — irradiates photons into scalp tissues. These photons are absorbed by weak cells to encourage hair growth.
It’s widely accepted that the procedure is safe, tolerable, and less invasive than hair transplant surgery.

How Laser Light Therapy Works
The theory of laser light treatment for hair loss is that the low-dose laser treatments invigorate circulation and stimulation that encourages hair follicles to grow hair.
The Laser light technology that we use is designed to emit light on the skin and penetrate just beneath its surface to increase the mitochondria within the body to enhance cellular function. This light doesn’t damage the skin; yet, it is still powerful enough to achieve the desired effect. Along with reversing hair loss and improving the skin’s texture and appearance, Laser light therapy can treat sun damage and other skin conditions such as psoriasis, scars and cold sores.
Different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light are applied directly to a targeted area by one of our specialists. The body tissue then absorbs the light.
The body tissue of the targeted area will then absorbs the low-level laser light creating a photochemical reaction that induces biochemical alterations in the cells
As a result of the Low-level laser light procedure onto the skin, the damaged cells respond with a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration. It will improve and heal the targeted areas.
If you want to stop and perhaps reverse hair loss, you might consider laser light treatment as an option.
As with any treatment, there are some positives and negatives that should be considered when determining if it’s right for you. However, if you lose a big amount of hair suddenly, see your doctor. Rapid hair loss might be an indication of an underlying condition that needs to be addressed.
